Founder repurchases Wannet Sports Insurance from AON

ARNHEM, - October 9, 2023 - Wannet Sports Insurance is delighted to announce that it has acquired the insurance portfolio for the sports and entertainment sector from Aon Netherlands. Additionally, Wannet has repurchased the Wannet Sports Insurance GmbH office in Germany from Aon.

‍For over 25 years, Wannet Sports Insurance has been renowned for its role as a specialized insurance broker in the sports and entertainment industry. The firm provides tailor-made solutions for disability insurance, including transfer value and contract value insurances, among other specialized policies.

The founder and former owner of Wannet Sports Insurance, Joseph Wannet, in collaboration with his son David Wannet and their business partner Bjorn Rijgersberg, repurchased the company from Aon. "We are thrilled with this acquisition," says Joseph Wannet. "With our team of experienced staff, we will continue to serve our clients at a Champions League level.
